CloudHire is Hiring a General Accountant

CloudHire, a leading remote employee provider in the information technology and services industry, is seeking a highly skilled General Accountant to contribute to the financial success of our company. As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, data entry, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and decision-making processes, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting regulations and industry best practices, ensuring our financial operations remain compliant and efficient.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Excel, Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Index and match, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial results.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a remote work environment is a plus, with a strong understanding of the benefits and challenges of working remotely.
  • Strong English language skills, with the ability to read and research expenses to allocate to correct GL accounts.
  • 2+ Years of experience with Microsoft GP, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
