Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze various aspects of PMS and other modules to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare documents as needed to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Understand and document client requirements to ensure alignment with our ERP product features.
  • Identify gaps between user requirements and our ERP product features and provide input to the development team.
  • Test and check functional aspects of modules developed by our team to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to training internal and external users on PMS and related modules to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Attend vessels for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes to ensure smooth deployment and support.
  • Assist vessels in data collection and update of PMS data onboard to maintain accurate records.
  • Train shipboard personnel on using our ERP product and other modules to ensure effective use and adoption.
  • Provide support to vessels and remote offices for our software and related modules to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • 3rd/2nd engineer or equivalent experience with minimum 2-4 years of relevant shore job experience in vessel data building on MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of vessel PMS, data building of vessel PMS on MS Excel or in marine software.
  • Experience and deep understanding of enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, excellent typing skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
