Wind Turbine Engineer Position

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced wind turbine engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wind turbine design, analysis, and manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.

We are looking for someone who can lead performance and structural analysis of wind turbine blades, including aerodynamic and fatigue simulations. The candidate should also be able to conduct testing for extreme load cases and ensure compliance with global certification standards.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead performance and structural analysis of wind turbine blades.
  • Conduct testing for extreme load cases and ensure compliance with global certification standards.
  • Define and manage blade manufacturing processes from layup to QA/QC and finishing.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and installation, driving continuous process improvements.
  • Design mechanical subsystems (hub bearings, pitch/yaw systems, drivetrain components) and integrate into nacelle assemblies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of wind turbine design, analysis, and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in ANSYS, BLADED, HAWC2, Flex5, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo.
  • Experience in composite materials, lean practices, machining, drivetrain dynamics.
  • Familiarity with certification standards (IEC/DNV).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine engineering.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
