Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to support our finance and operations team. This role requires strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules, along with excellent English communication skills.

This specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. They will also prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with tax-related filings.
  • Process payroll and superannuation contributions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
  • Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
