Enterprise Data Stewardship Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Steward to join our team. As an Enterprise Data Steward, you will play a critical role in supporting enterprise data initiatives by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data pipelines across various data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business and Technical Stewardship: Serve as a business and technical steward for assigned data domains, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Metadata Management: Create and maintain metadata, business glossary, and data catalog entries in DG Tools like Collibra, Altion, Informatica, or similar.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Work with data owners to enforce data definitions, classifications, and data quality rules, perform data profiling, issue identification, and remediation coordination.
  • Support and Training: Provide training and support to business users in using governance tools effectively and assist in governance tool configuration, workflow management, and integration automation.
  • Data Architecture and Strategy: Collaborate with engineering teams to support PII tagging, data masking, and access governance, and deploy the master data governance framework and use the supporting data management tools.
  • Performance Metrics and Reviews: Define data quality metrics and monitor data quality performance against established targets, conduct regular data governance reviews, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Operations of Data Governance
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra (catalog, lineage, workflows, API integrations)
  • Experience with data management tools (e.g., data catalogs, MDM systems, data quality platforms)
  • Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data classification practices
  • Technical skills in SQL, Python/Java, REST APIs for tool integration and automation
  • Familiarity with Google cloud platform (GCP) will be a plus
