Real Estate Acquisition Professional

We are seeking an experienced Acquisitions Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential locations for new retail stores, conducting market research and analysis, evaluating local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes.
About the RoleThe Acquisitions Specialist will work closely with senior managers to negotiate lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers. This will involve gathering necessary documents and coordinating follow-ups with property owners or agents.
The role also involves maintaining updated records of property details, contracts, and approvals. Additionally, the Acquisitions Specialist will build relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Market Research & Property Identification:
- Conduct site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility.
- Prepare basic reports with key findings and recommendations for shortlisted properties.
- Support senior managers in negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.
- Gather necessary documents and coordinate follow-ups with property owners or agents.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements.
- Maintain updated records of property details, contracts, and approvals.
- Build relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings.
- Assist in ensuring all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties.
- Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals in coordination with relevant teams.
- Prepare regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management.
- Provide feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
