The role involves designing, developing and maintaining high-quality APIs. The ideal candidate should have expertise in API design patterns, knowledge of security protocols and ability to ensure scalability and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Implement API automation to improve testing, deployment and monitoring processes.
  • Define and enforce API standards, versioning and design consistency across services.
  • Implement and maintain modern security protocols such as OAuth2, JWT and OpenID Connect.
  • Monitor and analyze API performance metrics, latency and error rates to maintain high availability.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience in API Development & Automation.
  • Strong expertise in RESTful APIs with hands-on experience using Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Proven experience in API Security Protocols OAuth2, JWT, OpenID etc.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of API versioning, design consistency and best practices.
  • Experience in monitoring API performance and error tracking.
Good to Have:
  • Exposure to GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native deployments.
