Modern Rug Designer Position

We are seeking an innovative and skilled rug designer to join our team in Delhi.

Our office is located in Delhi, and we have manufacturing facilities in Panipat and Bhadohi.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating modern rug designs using various techniques such as pitloom, punja, and kelim looms, as well as hand-tufted and modern hand-knotted carpets.

The successful candidate will possess a strong creative vision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Develop a comprehensive plan for the creative direction of the company across different product lines.
  • Share concept ideas for themes and collections, including visual presentations.
  • Design rugs that meet quality and texture standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new fiber, yarn, and weave technologies.
  • Plan exhibition stand design to showcase company collections.
  • Render rug designs in room settings to visualize their placement.
  • Design catalogues and social media content to promote company products.
  • Travel to factories and exhibitions as required.

Qualifications & Experience Preferred:

  • A degree or diploma in design or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in rug design or a related field.
  • Knowledge of carpet techniques, including hand tufting, hand knotting, and handloom weaving.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, CorelDraw, and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of Galaincha software is a plus.
