About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Dev Center India - Hyderabad. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the definition and development of new features and optimizations for our consumer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software engineers, program managers, user experience designers, marketers, customer service leads, and internal & external product stakeholders to define and deliver new features and optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to drive business outcomes.
  • Communicate project status and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
