Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced senior Data Engineer to design, build and maintain robust data pipelines for processing channel activity data from multiple sources.

  • Utilize AWS cloud infrastructure services like Pyspark, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, Athena and other services like Iceberg to implement scalable data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data ingestion and processing.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions related to data lakes, data warehouses and big data ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of AWS, Python and experience working on large-scale data engineering solutions. They should have a solid understanding of data processing architecture and be able to work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists and stakeholders.

Key Skills
  • Experience as a Data Engineer in greenfield environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as Pyspark, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EC2 and S3.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation and pipeline development.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Terradata.

Desirable qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, certifications or experience in AWS Cloud or relevant data engineering tools, experience working on Snowflake, and knowledge of ingesting real-time data (Apache Kafka).
