Lead Design Visionary
We are seeking an experienced design professional to lead our team in shaping the future of higher education career access and advancement. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving impactful platform enhancements and creative new feature development. You will work closely with our product managers, engineers, and data analyst to create a delightful product experience that meets the needs of our users.

Job Description:

In this role, you will oversee the design process, from concept to launch, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve in terms of design trends and best practices.

You will lead by example, taking on complex problems and executing design projects alongside your team. You will identify strategic design opportunities and drive them forward, both individually and collaboratively with your team.

Your experience in managing teams will enable you to ensure that your team members are working on high-impact tasks and delivering quality work on time. You will foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, promoting a healthy work-life balance and encouraging personal growth and development.

You will also be responsible for crafting a vision and roadmap for the design team, monitoring new trends and research in design, UX, and assessing how we might utilize them to improve our products.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in human-computer interaction design (UX, CDX, UI)
  • Experience working with software engineering and PM teams to build products from concept to launch
  • Exceptional wireframing and design abilities, able to articulate rationale behind design decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to use metrics and testing to develop hypotheses and evaluate design solutions
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
