Job Overview:

An Audit Manager is responsible for leading and executing risk-based internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, lead, and execute internal audits across all departments to ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory compliance.
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.
  • Identify control deficiencies, potential risks, and areas of non-compliance.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and impactful audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses.
  • Present reports and key insights to senior management and the Audit Committee, fostering constructive dialogue.
  • Monitor the timely and effective implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions by management, ensuring that identified deficiencies are adequately addressed.
  • Stay updated with the latest regulatory changes, pronouncements, and best practices relevant to the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and proven audit methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and the broader regulatory landscape impacting the industry.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to interpret complex data, identify root causes of issues, and develop practical, effective solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex audit findings clearly and concisely in reports and presentations.
  • Unquestionable integrity, strong ethical standards, and the ability to work independently with a high degree of objectivity and professionalism.
  • Professional certification like CA, CPA, CIA is a plus
