Data Scientist Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a skilled data scientist to design, develop, and maintain our data pipelines and infrastructure.

  • Azure Data Lake solutions need to be developed and maintained, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of large datasets.
  • Azure Synapse Analytics is used to build and manage scalable data warehousing solutions that enable advanced analytics and reporting.
  • The integration of various data sources into MS-Fabric ensures data consistency, quality, and accessibility across different platforms.
  • Data processing workflows and storage solutions need to be optimized to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Databases (SQL and NoSQL) management and optimization are crucial to support high-performance queries and data storage requirements.
  • Data quality checks and monitoring are implemented to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders is necessary to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Comprehensive documentation for data processes, pipelines, and infrastructure needs to be created and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of data engineering concepts and technologies, including Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Expertise in ETL process development and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and Synapse Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of data processing workflows and storage solutions.
