About the Job:

This highly specialized role is focused on utilizing advanced statistical models to drive data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical methodologies, mathematical optimization, and machine learning. Proficiency in designing and implementing complex statistical models to solve real-world business problems is essential.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement algorithms to address complex business challenges.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in data pipelines and production systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear and effective data visualizations.

Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical inference, vector calculus, linear algebra, and classical machine learning.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning environments requiring combined application of statistical and technical skills.
  • Excellent development skills in Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex statistical concepts into practical applications.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with convex optimization.
  • Familiarity with Kaggle competitions or similar data science challenges.
