Business Development and Practice Management Associate

Are you a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills? Do you thrive in fast-paced deal environments?

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development and Practice Management Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Deal Value Creation Services team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering post-merger integration projects.

You will work closely with leadership and CXOs at client sites, managing multiple stakeholders and driving business development initiatives. Your strong analytical skills, combined with your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, will be essential in driving the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver Post Merger Integration/Carve-out/Operational assessment projects.
  • Interact with leadership/CXOs at clients during project delivery.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders in client teams at all levels as well as within BDO.
  • Drive business development and practice management initiatives.
  • Work seamlessly with global teams (at client end as well as BDO).
  • Develop complex models in Excel and executive-level presentations.
Technical Skills:
  • Business Development/Upsell:
  • Support partner/director in building the practice in the region for BDO in India.
  • Have experience in planning & implementation of atleast 2-3 integration/separations of various front office and back office functions.
  • Deliver project management engagements with strong PMO skills and ability to work in a high-pressure deals environment.
  • Understand complex deal situations and its implication on the client's/target's business model.
  • Decent knowledge about operations and processes across different functions in an organisation.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills and Power BI.

  • Build collaborative working relationships at all levels, establishing credibility internally and externally.
  • Self-starter with strong ability to drive decision making and stakeholder management.
  • Maintain business relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and good verbal and written communication.
