Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to support its global financial operations. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for all international offices, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to support audit requirements across regions, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Work closely with tax advisors to ensure compliance with global tax laws, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions, maintaining accurate records and providing expert advice.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Participate in the global budgeting process, consolidating financial data across regions and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics, including cash flow, profitability, and budget variances, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Support financial forecasting and scenario analysis, helping to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Cash Management & Treasury:

  • Manage global cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity, making informed decisions about investments and funding.
  • Support initiatives to optimize working capital and streamline fund transfers across international entities, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support hedging strategies, minimizing risk and maximizing returns.

Process Improvement & Systems Management:

  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to drive global consistency and efficiency, ensuring best practices are adopted across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies across regions, maintaining high standards of governance and compliance.
  • Assist in ERP and financial system integrations and upgrades, leveraging technology to enhance financial capabilities.

Leadership & Team Support:

  • Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial practices and reporting, fostering a culture of excellence and cooperation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
  • Act as a liaison between regional teams and senior leadership on financial matters, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting field, with CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 6-10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in a multinational environment, with expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and international taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management, with proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
