Job Overview

The position involves providing high-quality services to customers, ensuring a seamless experience and delivering passionate customer orientation. Service Engineers will be responsible for the calibration and annual maintenance contract services of ZwickRoell products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance visits for Annual Maintenance Contract orders.
  • Calibrate ZwickRoell make machines and instruments at customer sites.
  • Prepare calibration certificates and submit them to customers on time, adhering to standards.
  • Submit service reports and checklists to the service planner for invoicing to customers in a timely manner.
  • Analyse faults or failures with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
  • Determine the nature and scope of faults or damage and advise customers on proper follow-up procedures for procuring spare parts or arranging warranty replacement parts, considering commercial aspects.
  • Regularly follow up with Service sales executives for timely submission of offers for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and calibration proposals for renewal.
  • Advise customers regularly on spares and consumables for the machines and instruments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow up with Service sales executives for timely submission of spares, consumables, and accessory proposals to customers.
  • Plan customer visits in consultation with service planners.
  • Utilize CRM systems to actively manage all service jobs.
  • Continuously develop and maintain knowledge and expertise of the ZwickRoell Product Portfolio and Applications to enhance confidence and service effectiveness.
  • Submit installation and calibration checklists to the service planners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Automation/Instrumentation).
  • A minimum of two years' experience in servicing materials testing machines and instruments.
  • Working experience in measurement and analytical instruments or materials testing is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of materials testing and properties.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience in customer support activities for materials testing machines.
  • Proficiency in PC software and good knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel for customer complaints.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
  • Proficiency in German language is advantageous.

Travel Requirements: 70% travel requirement.
