Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Lakehouse Solution Design: Develop a robust data lakehouse solution utilizing Apache Iceberg and Apache Spark to enable high-performance analytics and data processing.
  • Treasury Analytics: Integrate financial datasets and reporting engines to deliver actionable insights and support informed business decisions.
  • AWS Services: Utilize AWS services for data orchestration and transformation, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure.
  • Docker and Containerization: Implement Docker-based environments and cross-team development practices to ensure smooth deployment and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including domain exposure to Treasury or finance.
  • Deep expertise in Apache Spark, Iceberg, ETL frameworks, and distributed computing principles.
  • Strong experience with AWS services for data orchestration and transformation.
  • Solid grasp of Docker-based environments and cross-team development practices.
  • Bonus: Experience with data lakehouse related technologies such as AWS Glue, Nessie, or Trino.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with financial instruments, liquidity models, or regulatory requirements.
