Job Title:

Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of data management, ensuring data quality, and adhering to documented processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To refresh user data periodically on Onecert platform, enabling Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls such as Leaver/Mover and User Access Review.
  • To extract, source, convert, and upload user lists to Onecert platform.
  • To generate reports and follow established escalation procedures to source user lists.
  • To fulfill requests from business stakeholders to source user lists and Security Access Matrix documents.
  • To implement changes in Onecert catalogue based on Security Access Matrix request changes.
  • To collaborate with external teams to source user lists, work with support to understand application limitations, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • To highlight and mitigate risks pertaining to IAM processes and Bank security.
  • To support IAM leaders in maintaining and enhancing IAM processes.
  • To conduct periodical reviews and exercises related to Application security, ensuring compliance with current procedures and implementing enhancements to address non-compliance and security requirements.

Regulatory & Business Conduct:

  • To exemplify conduct that adheres to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics across Standard Chartered Bank.
  • To effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
  • To lead the IAM Data Services team to achieve outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, IAM, or related field.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
