Job Title: IT Governance Lead

About the Role:

Our organization seeks an experienced IT Governance Lead to drive strategic compliance initiatives, foster risk-aware culture, and develop a strong IT governance framework. The successful candidate will oversee organizational-wide compliance programs, ensuring all IT activities align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective IT governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures, to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  3. Provide subject matter expertise on IT risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks to drive informed decision-making.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with audit entities, external auditors, and consultants to facilitate smooth audits and assessments.
  5. Define and document business process responsibilities and ownership of controls in our GRC tool, ensuring seamless operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, with a deep understanding of industry frameworks and regulations.
  2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive organizational change and improvement.
  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resolution of issues, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  4. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT, security, or related field from an accredited university.
  5. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC, are desirable.
