Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer Role

We seek an accomplished PCB Design Engineer to join our agile hardware team.

Responsibilities:

  • High-Quality PCB Design: Design and develop high-quality Printed Circuit Boards with precision and accuracy.
  • Comprehensive Document Preparation: Prepare comprehensive documents for PCB assembly and fabrication using advanced CAD software.
  • Reliable Circuit Design: Design layouts to develop high-speed reliable circuits that meet customer specifications.
  • Process Optimization: Routinize and optimize PCB design processes to improve efficiency.
  • Design Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve any design-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure seamless production.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with customers and engineers to provide revisions based on their specifications.
  • Performance Improvement: Review and recommend improvements to existing designs to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Test Procedure Assistance: Assist teams in preparing test procedures to verify PCB functions accurately.

Qualifications:

  • PCB Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards and associated design principles.
  • Software Experience: Showcase work experience with software such as OrCAD and Altium.
  • Layer Stack Understanding: Evidence clear understanding of PCB layer stack up and common design rules.
  • Engineering Drawing Skills: Demonstrate expertise in working with and designing engineering drawings.
