Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to fill the role of Cloud Architect. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS and serverless architectures.

This is a hands-on development role that requires maintaining and enhancing automated deployments so that our DevOps team can promote solutions seamlessly across environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Rapidly familiarize yourself with an ongoing project and its architecture.
  • Independently design, develop, and deploy new features using AWS serverless technologies.
  • Define and implement schemas and data models for DynamoDB.
  • Set up and maintain fully automated deployments for development environments.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth promotion to higher environments.
  • Build and integrate APIs with API Gateway and implement event-driven patterns using Event Bridge and Kinesis.
  • Collaborate using GitLab, maintaining CI/CD pipeline.
  • Write robust automated tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
  • Contribute to a highly scalable, consumer-facing system capable of handling high throughput.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in AWS, serverless architectures, and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and serverless technologies.
  • Experience with automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of API Gateway, Event Bridge, and Kinesis.
  • Ability to write robust automated tests.
