Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions that align with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure according to best practices.
  • Developing cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC.
  • Automating deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Implementing security measures and best practices including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection.
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing cloud resources for cost and performance.
  • Collaborating with development teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows.
  • Conducting cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Staying updated on AWS features and industry trends to continually innovate and improve cloud practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPC, subnetting, NAT, VPN.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices.
  • AWS certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is also required.
