Market Access Strategist

As a Market Access Strategist, you will play a critical role in leading market access activities, ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive market access and commercialization of pharmaceutical products.
  • Conduct thorough market research and health economics analysis to identify barriers, trends, and requirements affecting product access.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), to generate evidence supporting product value.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to negotiate reimbursement strategies, pricing, and access conditions.
  • Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions, leveraging expertise in regulatory affairs and market access.
  • Stay abreast of policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape, proactively adapting market access strategies to ensure ongoing success.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management, driving business growth and expansion.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing and reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective market access strategies, preparing comprehensive reimbursement dossiers, and engaging with payers.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
