Academic Counsellor - Shape the Future of Learning

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Counsellor to play a critical role in guiding students through our programs and helping them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic guidance and support to students from diverse backgrounds
  • Deliver counselling sessions with students either in-person or virtually, ensuring effective communication and empathy
  • Develop and implement evidence-based counselling strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure seamless student progression and success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counselling (experience in education technology an asset)
  • Fluency in Tamil and strong English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities, with a passion for education
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
