Key Responsibilities

  • Execute fieldwork and testing in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Design and lead independent risk assessment programs, including issue classification and reporting.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on project progress and potential findings.
  • Lead conversations with senior stakeholders, requiring minimal managerial support.
  • Train and mentor colleagues in upskilling themselves with relevant knowledge and practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership in strategic initiatives to improve delivery models and contribute to senior leadership presentations.
  • Develop remediation plans to address findings and detect emerging regulatory risks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in internal audit or regulatory compliance within a Big Four firm or financial institution, preferably with an Anti-Money Laundering background.
  • Good academic qualification with experience in compliance or legal, including Anti-Money Laundering knowledge.
  • Preferred certifications include Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS, MBA, and individuals with audit certifications.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong internal control and validating testing skills are essential.
