Freelance International Trade Compliance Expert

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Freelance International Trade Compliance Expert to join our team as a trainer and consultant.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cross-border trade concepts, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks with a focus on SAP SD.

You will deliver sessions on tariff classification, customs procedures, and case exercises on export clearance in SAP SD. Additionally, you will lead training sessions on rules of origin, preference determination, and SAP SD configuration for FTAs.

You will be responsible for managing Import & Export Compliance and SAP SD compliance automation. Furthermore, you will guide learners through Trade Documentation Management, preparing bills of lading, certificates of origin, letters of credit, and shipping instructions integrated into SAP SD workflows.

Facilitate end-to-end trade flow simulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Finance or related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) with a focus on international trade processes.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, FTAs, and import/export compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with trade documentation and SAP SD workflow integration.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, teamwork and facilitation skills.
  • Prior experience in delivering corporate training is an advantage.
