Global Trade Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in the role of International Trade Compliance Professional.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade, customs regulations, and compliance, with a proven track record of managing complex trade operations and ensuring seamless execution.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Indian and US customs regulations, including regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize duty benefits schemes, establish advance authorizations for customs duty relief, and implement cost-effective broker management strategies.
- Closely coordinate with AP and Global Transportation teams to minimize ATD, DTA, and DTD time, while ensuring origin and destination compliance.
- Establish efficient processes for HSS, SIB, SEZ, and EOU businesses, and manage government queries, hearings, and SCN's in a timely manner.
- Maintain matrix communication with Product Business Group, Taxation, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Care teams, and undertake Six Sigma projects to enhance operations and drive cost savings.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in arts or commerce, or post-graduation/MBA in International Trade.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in International Trade and Policy Compliance.
- Prior experience in EXIM operations, especially in manufacturing and trading activities.
- Knowledge of Customs, DGFT, MEIT, BIS notifications, and ability to ensure RA EXIM activities comply with these regulations.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Understanding of Customs Rules and Regulations, with the ability to protect the organization by meeting RA Ethical Standards.
- Strong communication skills for discussing EXIM matters with consultants and government officials.
- Analytical skills for analyzing DTD behavior, spend, audit & reviews, and updating SOPs in a timely manner.
