Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our accounting team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers, monitoring accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, and reconciling discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Account Monitoring: Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Discrepancy Reconciliation: Reconcile discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and communicate effectively with customers regarding payments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical skills, including the ability to gather and organize information.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in invoicing and accounting software.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Review and Verification: Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Payout Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules.
  • Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Multitasking: Attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on U.S. GAAP regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting activities.

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants should have strong analytical skills, be comfortable working in a US night shift environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
