Job Description

Conduct FAT tests for semiconductor equipment and qualification.

Execute checklists and procedures and update tasks as needed.

Collect, process, and analyze data.

Apply troubleshooting methods to eliminate equipment malfunctions.

Record process documentation and production data meticulously.

Refine process recipes based on test recipes and customer requirements.

Pump down vacuum chambers and load-locks with safety measures.

Have hands-on experience with PID tuning, DOE's, and Kawasaki robots.

Evaluate ESD requirements for platforms.

Handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision.

Verify lock-out/tag-out is done properly.

Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft suites.

Experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.

Able to work in cleanroom environments.

Additional Responsibilities
  1. Have a good understanding of mechanical components, adjustment, and alignment.
  2. Write daily reports and present them to the team.
  3. Give input on peers during yearly reviews.
  4. Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets standards.
  5. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
Qualifications
  • Degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant final testing/process.
  • Substantial experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in equipment engineering in Semiconductor, Solar, or LED industry.
  • CAD, Solid works, and inventor knowledge is a plus.
  • Some software, PLC knowledge, and understanding is a plus.
  • Good understanding of electrical and electronics troubleshooting down to component level.
  • Lean manufacturing skills.
  • Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers.
