Lead Project Coordinator Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Project Coordinator to oversee and manage end-to-end project activities within our modular furniture manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of steel structures and furniture concepts, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with the project team.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Project Planning & Initiation
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to finalize design concepts.
- Ensure design specifications align with client requirements and budget constraints.
- Oversee the development of technical drawings and documentation.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Establish and monitor project budgets.
- Approve procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures.
- Manage cost variations and ensure financial targets are met.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and installation processes.
- Construction & Installation Oversight
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Schedule & Timeline Management
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Track progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of milestones and final delivery.
- Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks.
- Develop mitigation strategies.
- Address unforeseen issues proactively.
- Post-Project Closeout
- Conduct final inspections and obtain approvals.
- Ensure proper handover of documentation, warranties, and manuals.
- Gather client feedback and conduct post-occupancy evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree related to this profile.
- 5+ years of experience in a design or technical support role, preferably in the modular furniture manufacturing industry.
