Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to fill this key role in our accounting department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tax Provision Preparation
  1. Prepare quarterly corporate income tax provisions for APAC and EMEA subsidiaries, incorporating profitability analytics.
  2. Ensure timely payment of tax liabilities and book relevant accounting journals.
Compliance Support
  1. Assist in the preparation/review and filing of corporate income tax returns for APAC and EMEA subsidiaries.
  2. Audit enquiries on such filings and support compliance efforts.
Financial Statement Assistance
  1. APAC and EMEA subsidiaries statutory financial statement preparation.
  2. Audit of such subsidiaries where necessary.
Tax Reporting and Compliance
  1. Quarterly GST/VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.
  2. Associated journal entries for APAC and EMEA subsidiaries.
Business Support and Collaboration
  1. Support GST/VAT matters from Sales & AR team, including taxability of sales orders/invoices and credit memos.
  2. Minimise withholding taxes and ensure appropriate documentation is provided.
Transfer Pricing and Data Analysis
  1. Provide data for Transfer Pricing Reports for the APAC and EMEA subsidiaries.
  2. Review these reports to ensure accuracy.
Presentation and Communication
  1. Presentation to the wider accounting team on tax topics relevant to their role.
  2. Communication of how the group tax structure works.
Compliance Duties
  1. Ongoing compliance duties associated with the role.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Chartered Accountant tax qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Industry experience with US multinational Technology companies an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements.
