PMS Analyst Job Posting

Objective:

We are seeking a highly skilled PMS Analyst to analyze various aspects of our cloud-based ERP system and prepare documents as per the need.

  • Analyze client requirements and document them effectively;
  • Understand user needs and provide input on gaps between user requirements and system features;
  • Test/check functional aspects of modules developed by the team and produce desired reports/outcomes;
  • Contribute in training internal/external users on PMS and related modules;
  • Create software-related documents (software feature documents, help documents, FAQs, workflow documents) as per team requirements;
  • Visit vessels for implementation/issue fixing and training purposes;
    Assist in data collection process and update of PMS data onboard;
    Train shipboard personnel on use of the system and other modules; including database backup and system recovery;
    Provide support to vessels/remote offices for the system and related modules.

Requirements:

  • 3rd/4th engineer or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience;
  • Shore experience in shipping management company as PMS coordinator/controller with naval architecture and marine engineering background;
  • Experience and deep understanding of enterprise computing needs of ship management companies;
  • Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Excellent typing and analyzing skills;
  • Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail;
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
