Accounting Team Lead Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead to lead our Accounts Payable team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the daily work distribution among team members.
  • Overseeing the invoice process to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Turnaround Times (TATs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Handling exceptions and resolving escalations.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for issue resolution.
  • Escalating critical issues to management or stakeholders appropriately.
  • Ensuring all Accounts Payable processes comply with internal control and audit requirements.
  • Assisting in internal/external audits with necessary documentation.
  • Monitoring and motivating team performance.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
