Job Title: Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Strategist to lead our Microsoft Security Go-to-Market initiatives within the IT and Services Consulting sector.

This is a 12-month renewable contract with the option to work from home anywhere in India. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or information technology, with at least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and improve alignment with industry teams.
  • Securing high-value customer wins and creating compelling case studies to showcase expertise.
  • Influencing the development and positioning of security capabilities that meet vertical-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Elevating market presence through thought leadership, contributing to webinars, white papers, and industry events.
  • Mentoring internal teams to improve execution across sales, presales, and solution teams.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science/Information Technology degree or diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including senior security architect, strategist, or CISO roles.
  • Equivalent experience or a degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
  • Proven success in shaping and executing security strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong executive communication and facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engagements and contribute to strategic opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and its implications for security, governance, and risk management.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, design thinking, and collaborative solution development.
  • Ability to conduct market research and translate insights into actionable security strategies and content.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer success.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where initiative and assertiveness are key.
