Backend Development Internship

This is a 3-month full-time opportunity to develop skills in PHP and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a strong understanding of core PHP.
  • Develop a basic knowledge of MVC architecture, routes, controllers, models, migrations, and blade templates using the Laravel Framework.
  • Acquire database knowledge by learning MySQL or PostgreSQL basics, writing queries, and understanding relationships (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many).
  • Learn frontend fundamentals for integrating with Laravel views including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understand how to consume and build APIs using REST APIs.
  • Get familiar with version control using Git/GitHub and basic commands like commit, push, pull, and branching.
  • Gain knowledge of package management in Laravel using Composer.
  • Improve debugging skills by learning to troubleshoot errors and use Laravel's error logs.

Preferred Skills:

  • AJAX / jQuery for dynamic frontend interactions.
  • Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS for styling and responsive design.
  • Laravel's built-in auth system basics for authentication & authorization.
  • Basic testing using Laravel testing (PHPUnit, feature tests).
  • Understanding of MVC in general.

  • Ability to follow coding standards and guidelines.
  • Communication & teamwork skills.
