Restaurant Product Design Lead

  • Lead the design of key areas of our two-sided marketplace, Payments, Menus, and Integrations.
  • Develop solutions to help restaurants grow their business by enabling pre-dining transactions and unlocking merchandising opportunities.
  • Improve menu management solutions to enable easy updates, publishing, and maintenance across various platforms.
  • Translate restaurant value and business goals into compelling user experiences at the intersection of Partnerships and Restaurant users.
  • Identify new product enhancements driven by experiments to scale solutions across our platform.
  • Facilitate research with restaurant owners and staff to become an expert in their needs.
  • Collaborate with a remote team of product designers, managers, sales, and engineers to deliver restaurant productivity-enhancing experiences.

Requirements:
  • Solve complex design challenges as a systems thinker.
  • Have experience designing for web with a strong portfolio showcasing product design work.
  • Have minimum 5 years of professional experience in product design.
  • Experience designing for two-sided marketplaces is required.
  • Balancing rapid experimentation with longer-term practical design thinking is essential.
  • Strong visual and interaction skills are necessary.
  • Ability to negotiate, prioritise, and break down design work into measurable outcomes while advocating for the user.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn from others are crucial.
  • Appreciation for feedback from stakeholders and peers is important.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and self-direct to deliver against commitments.
  • Collaboration experience with product managers and engineers in an agile environment is beneficial.
  • Clear articulation of design decisions through written and verbal communication.
  • Experience working with remote teams is a plus.
  • Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools is required.
