Java Backend Software Specialist

Job Position

We are looking for a skilled backend developer with expertise in Java to develop scalable and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather functional requirements and create technical specifications for projects and tests.
  • Write clean, testable, maintainable, and efficient code in languages like Python, Java, Kotlin, and associated frameworks like Django, FastAPI, Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to align on feature development and overall service goals.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to postmortems and system hardening.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies is preferred.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience building backend systems, preferably in fintech or financial platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
  • A solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
  • Experience with designing or maintaining systems with transactional guarantees (ACID).
  • Strong experience in leading design and implementation of robust and highly scalable back-end services.
