Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced automation engineer to fill this position.

  • This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriverIO for web applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in writing efficient and maintainable code in C# and JavaScript to automate web application testing.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary for working with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
  • Azure Pipelines experience is required for creating and managing the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Ensuring that automated tests cover all critical functionalities and edge cases is crucial.
  • The selected candidate will identify and document bugs, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in Selenium and automation testing is essential.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve the quality of the automation framework is vital.
Essential Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Selenium automation testing with C# and JavaScript (WebDriverIO).
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and web application architecture.
  • Proficient in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriverIO.
  • Experience in creating and managing Azure Pipelines for CI/CD processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other testing frameworks such as TestComplete, Katalon, or Appium.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools and services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
