A senior fashion designer is sought after by a leading brand to spearhead the creation of innovative, ethnic blouse designs that harmoniously blend tradition and trend.

As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing fresh ideas, developing detailed sketches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date on the latest ethnic trends, embroidery techniques, and fabric innovations to ensure our designs remain cutting-edge.

  • Develop innovative ethnic blouse designs that showcase a deep understanding of heritage and trend
  • Create detailed hand-drawn sketches for new collections, showcasing your artistic skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with product and sampling teams to ensure seamless execution of design concepts
  • Stay updated on the latest ethnic trends, embroidery techniques, and fabric innovations to inform design decisions
Key Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in ethnic wear
  • Strong ability in hand sketching, freehand illustration, and color coordination
  • Degree in Fashion Design or related field, with a focus on textiles and apparel
  • Understanding of blouse fits, silhouettes, fabric detailing, and embellishments, as well as an eye for detail and color combinations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
