Job Title: Senior Design Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior design director to lead our architectural design teams in delivering high-quality projects. As a senior design director, you will be responsible for guiding the development of innovative designs, ensuring they meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with concept design teams to develop design solutions for complex projects.
  • Lead the refinement of selected design options into schematic and draft final designs, including all required drawings and reports.
  • Closely work with stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met across disciplines for complex projects at all stages.
  • Work with project managers to review and validate design deliverables for medium to complex projects, capturing feedback and obtaining approvals as needed.
  • Support the quantity surveying department in developing tender documents, including specifications, bills of quantities, and conditions of contract.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in architecture.
  • A master's degree in architecture or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of industry experience in architectural design.
  • Strong experience in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles and practices.
  • Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
  • Exposure to global best practices and trends in architectural design.
Software Knowledge:
  • Revit Architecture.
  • BIM 360.
  • AutoCAD.
  • MS Office.
