Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of advanced automation solutions for manufacturing operations. This key role will be responsible for architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting systems.

The successful candidate will ensure seamless integration of operational technology (OT) systems with enterprise information technology (IT) systems, databases, and cloud platforms. They will develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using industry-standard protocols such as REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA.

This position requires strong technical leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity, as well as experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, containerization, and cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies, including Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, and scripting module configuration.
  • Strong background in industrial standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443, and familiarity with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
