Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy
  1. Process Optimization & Compliance
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational procedures meet regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve compliance through process improvements.
  1. Continuous Improvement & Project Management
  • Identify and execute Continuous Improvement projects focused on reducing supply chain costs and improving procurement efficiency.
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to address root causes and drive measurable improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs).
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze and report on core supply chain KPIs such as lead time, On-Time-In-Full (OTIF), inventory turns, and supplier performance to inform business decisions.
  • Build dashboards and advanced analytical reports using Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools to provide insights and recommendations.
  1. Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Support the procurement of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), excipients, and packaging materials ensuring quality compliance and supplier performance.
  • Drive vendor evaluation, qualification, and timely material availability at the site to ensure seamless operations.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production, and Planning teams to ensure seamless batch scheduling and material flow.
  • Support audits with accurate documentation and supply chain evidence to maintain regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or similar regulated industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology (B Tech) / Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B Pharma) or MBA in Supply Chain Operations is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) and proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP) and analytics platforms.
  • Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional projects and excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
