Senior Java Developer Role

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

  • We require a seasoned Java developer with 8+ years of experience in production-level development.
  • Familiarity with Java development, problem-solving skills, and AWS cloud technologies are essential.
  • Expertise in Spring/Spring-Boot Framework, Terraform, and cloud provider technologies like SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable systems and services in the cloud, including REST services.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all aspects of software development from architecture to design to estimation to development to testing and release.
  • Develop, debug, and build automated tests for multiple programming assignments.
  • Partner with product owners, software architects, and other software engineers to turn high-level requirements into product enhancements.
  • Monitor large-scale production applications and have experience with deployment and infrastructure design.
