High-level overview of the job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PHP, CodeIgniter, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, jQuery, and JavaScript.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of PHP and MySQL, as well as excellent practical experience developing web applications. They will be responsible for building new projects, analyzing and taking ownership of current projects to make improvements to ensure stability, and developing strong new features to sit on top of and completely integrate with the existing system.

Required Key Skills
  • Experience with MySQL 5.x and PHP 5.x
  • Experience building RESTful APIs Knowledge of the Symfony Framework
  • JQuery, design patterns, and JavaScript MV* framework expertise
  • Experience with HTML and CSS Experience with Web APIs and dealing with third-party APIs
  • Experience with version control and Git Linux experience is an asset
  • Knowing Unix shell scripts is advantageous.
  • An asset is previous knowledge of website localization.
