Senior Financial Director Role

This leadership position is responsible for directing the company's financial strategy, ensuring robust financial operations, regulatory compliance, and smooth audit processes.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including experience in fintech or payments companies. A comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms is also essential.

In addition to managing statutory and regulatory audits, this role involves leading treasury operations, including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, exchange accounts, and banking relationships.

The successful candidate will oversee payroll, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with all relevant regulations.

A strong team player with excellent communication skills, the Senior Financial Director will be a strategic partner to the organization, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions
  • Design and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with crypto asset flows
  • Lead treasury operations
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations

Required qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms
  • Demonstrated experience managing statutory and regulatory audits
  • Profound knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and treasury operations within a dynamic environment

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience in Crypto payment or infrastructure space
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing
