Job Title: Shift Field Engineer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Field Engineer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and implementing safety procedures and processes in the field.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring risk assessment and toolbox talk prior to job execution, supporting the shift superintendent in monitoring process parameters and troubleshooting, and providing field supervision for shutdown, start-up, and preservation.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as strong people management skills.
  • They will also possess good communication skills, teamwork and leadership skills, and good technical skills.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining shift logs, self-compliance to operational excellence elements, and enforcing these with subordinates.
  • They will also participate in learning from incidents and RCA discussions, provide field training to subordinates, and contribute to improvement activities and feedback to superiors.
  • Finally, they will prepare daily reports on plant performance highlights, raw material consumption, and utilities reports.

Qualifications: B Tech BE Degree in Chemical Engineering.
