Job Title: FTC Associate Director

Programme Leadership
The role of the Associate Director – Programmes is to play a critical part in advancing the programme portfolio of an organisation focused on addressing complex development challenges through innovation, partnerships, and programme implementation.

Reporting to a Senior Programme Leader, the Associate Director – Programmes shall oversee select programme areas to ensure timely, high-quality delivery in line with agreed goals. The individual will provide guidance to project teams to strengthen operational efficiency and responsiveness. Additionally, the Associate Director will contribute inputs to budget planning and monitor utilisation in assigned programme areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, steering, and scaling impactful initiatives with emphasis on effective planning, cross-sectoral integration, and outcome-oriented delivery.
  • Providing mentoring support to mid-level team members to help them grow into leadership roles.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences, development studies, public policy, or a related discipline.

At least 12–15 years of relevant experience in programme design, management, or evaluation within the development sector, including experience in leadership roles.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
