Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain robust ETL workflows using Matillion ETL.
  • Optimize ETL jobs and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and error-free.
  • Migrate and transform data from source systems to a data warehouse.
  • Use advanced proficiency in SQL/PLSQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality data solutions on projects with tight deadlines.
  • Contribute to the overall data strategy by working in an Agile environment and continuously seeking ways to improve data modeling and ETL practices.

Technical Skills :

  • Matillion : Strong experience with Matillion ETL (version 4.x or later).
  • Database : Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Cloud Platforms : In-depth experience with cloud data platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3).
  • Data Engineering : Expertise in data migration, data profiling, and data modeling principles.
  • Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
  • Big Data : Familiarity with big data frameworks like Spark.
  • Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : Cloud certification from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience & Education :

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering, or data integration.
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Matillion in cloud environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.

Job Requirements :

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer who can develop, maintain, and optimize our ETL workflows.
