Job Title: Senior Data Systems Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Systems Engineer to lead our data engineering team in the development and maintenance of high-performing data systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable data systems using cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and software engineers, to define data requirements and ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Design, implement, and optimize databases, including relational databases like Oracle and Snowflake, as well as NoSQL databases.
  • Implement and manage data warehouses and BI tools, including DAC, Qlik, and OBIEE.
  • Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries and perform performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
  • Apply requirement analysis, test case development, production support, performance tuning, data modeling, and data validation methodologies.
  • Utilize automation tools for scheduling and automation tasks.
  • Provide leadership and delivery of offshore/onshore teams, including L2/L3 support, peer reviews, release management, and client communication.

Requirements:

  • 14+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in team handling and leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of ETL, SQL, Oracle, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of database design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to deliver results-oriented solutions and drive team success.
